What is PICIP Flamboyanes?

PICIP is a comprehensive community development program. Its design is based on a participatory community diagnosis and social prioritization that articulates problems, needs and local resources, promoting grassroots development and social prevention of violence, from a perspective of law, sustainability and relational and inclusive gender. For this, we work on the formation and strengthening of base groups that address the social causes of the main problems that affect their community, promote the social bond of solidarity, the sense of belonging, social inclusion, participation and collaborative work in net. The PICIP is organized into 5 areas and 13 lines of action: comprehensive education, child and youth inclusion, community life, health, and labor-productive.

Our goal

PICIP seeks Grassroots Community Development, that is, the positive transformation of the living conditions of the communities in which it works, based on the strengthening of capacities and the organized participation of its inhabitants working as a network, legally constituting itself to strengthen their autonomy and with the horizon of impacting public policies for the common good.
